Each new agent has heard the advice they really need to contact all the people in their circle of influence when they started out. This is certainly good advice for when you are just starting out, you will have a difficult time getting clients.
You will have past clients to recommend you, the signs around town with your name on them, or a print ad featuring your listings. All of these methods and much more, combine to bring a constant flow of clients after you have been in business for several years. You can find ‘property management and development’ (which is also known as ‘Forvaltning og utvikling av eiendom’ in the Norwegian language) courses to get real estate knowledge.
So, where to start? One of the first things you want to do is start compiling a list of your contacts. The list should include all those listed above and others that you can think of. Do not forget the past co-workers, people who went to school with, and contacts out of your bank, grocery store, laundry, etc.

There are many different options on the market and they range in price from free to several hundred dollars. In fact, there is a package where you pay a monthly subscription fee.
You may be tempted to try one free package or low-end but you have to consider this carefully. A well-known problem with this type of software is malicious code that often comes with it. This can include spyware, adware, malware, and a number of viruses.
You would be better if you go with one of the mid-priced packages that allow contact information, fees, and other custom reports, letters and brochures management, and can be upgraded in the future. You will want to start using the package you go with as soon as possible.
