Tip Number One: Track you daily food intake and fitness. When you track your food you are more aware of what and how much you are eating. Those that track their food tend to eat less than those that do not.
There are many online resources that you can use to keep a running total of the food you eat or you can keep a notepad in your purse. Another benefit of tracking you daily food intake is that you can go back and monitor how you are doing and make adjustments from week to week. Tip Number Two: Fit in exercise whenever you can. Even if it is only 30 minutes 3 times a week. You will start building muscle when you work out which will increase the amount of calories you burn each day.
The more calories you burn the more weight you will lose and the faster you will lose it. Those that exercise regularly lose more weight than those that don't when dieting.
Tip Number Three: Only weigh yourself once a week. Take your measurements as well and track them weekly. We find this more effective than the scale in monitoring my progress.
Tip Number Four: Drink at least 64 ounces of water every day. You may feel a little bloated at first and run to the bathroom often, but you will get used to it after a couple days. Water will help suppress your appetite and helps your body metabolize your stored fat.
